In March 2008, CompUSA was going out of business and I went to visit the local store to see what junk was still there at 60% off. The place was like a zoo and the camera section destroyed. I had planned to get whatever scraps that were available but stumbled across a Cannon 40d for peanuts, like under 1k (with the lens kit!) Of course I bought it and so began a new hobby, and the justification for even spending any money on a camera I really did not need or was looking to buy (Damn those 60% off, closing our store, no refunds)
To my surprise, some of the picture I starting taking turned out good and I was encouraged to take more. Friends told me I had a “good eye” I think a lot is the camera, learning Photoshop and a lot is the fact that I travel for work and get opportunities to take unique photos. I found there are a lot of blogs on the internet that pertain exclusively to photography. So here is my crack at it, look it over, enjoy what you see, make a comment and offer advice, but remember, please do not use any pictures on this site without permission.
